Prometheus locked up. The tower made a click. That's the second time that's happened.

So I opened her and decided taht it might be heat. Since my Hard Drives are sitting atop one another I decide to seperate them. The only way to do so is to mount them in the 5 1/2" bays above. So I go through all the pain of putting mounting brackets on them.

Then I realize that I only have 4 bays and A is taken up by the CD ROM. If I had 5 I could use A, C and E. But no, I have 4. So I have to remove the mounting brackets from one the the HDs. I put my C:\ in the third bay and my D:\ goes back to it's old place.

The EIDE ribbon won't reach them both.

I move D:\ and kneel on my hair and stab my thumb (lightly) with the screwdriver.

I have also decided to open the front of the chasis for air. Since the right side is the motherboard side that stays closed. The left sdie has a fan which helps out the processor fan, that stays in place. And the back doesn't open. So now I have removed all the bay covers. I don't know if this is safe but fuck it.

I do not enjoy computer surgery. Though unfortunatly I may become good at it.
