So I get a call at 5am, it's from my uncle. My great aunt has been in
the hospital and is getting worse. Of course I have the only phone on
the 2nd floor. So I'm kept up till 530 and I sleep.

I wake up, my mom says she wants to break the news to my grandfather so
I say, "Ok I'm gonna do homework." I finish my homework at 10am and go
back to sleep, figuring when they're done talking she'll wake me up to
take me to school.

Wrong! She wake me up at noon (when my class starts) and tells me, "Hey
it's noon." Well, I told her my assumption and she goes, "You said you
were going to do homework." Yeah, that's means "don't interupt my
homework time, even if it means going to class."
